DCU McNulty School of Computing provides computer laboratories for undergraduate teaching and postgraduate research. The project modernised and refurbished the space to create a contemporary working environment and additional workplaces through efficient planning . The design created 10 additional student places and a new 50 seat seminar room within an existing open plan teaching space.

Fast Track  Delivery – Key Success Central Break Out

A key success was the creation of a centralised cafeteria/kitchen/break out area which provided an important resource for the faculty as well as creating opportunities for informal interaction between staff and students.

Statutory consents were obtained prior to commencement and the project was completed on budget to an accelerated 8 week programme over the summer recess in order to minimise disruption to teaching operations at the School.
